On the Air

Was kommt raus, wenn man David Lynch eine Sitcom machen lässt und ihm freie Hand lässt? Das hier:

"Back in the early 90s, when David Lynch was still flying high on the success of Twin Peaks, ABC trusted him enough to create another television show. It seems that the suits were so confused by the fact that Twin Peaks actually worked, that they took their hands off the wheel and let him do whatever he wanted.
This is rarely a good strategy for dealing with Lynch, and (as many could have predicted) he delivered a really, really, really weird sitcom called On the Air. The show tanked after a few episodes, because it's really, really, really weird. But, if you're a Lynch fan, it's actually pretty awesome. That is, if your definition of "awesome" includes a pair of conjoined twins named The Hurry-Up Twins who only ever say "Hurry up.""
